Dear subscribers,

Today, I want to share a new episode with Dave Kline, a Bridgewater veteran who reported directly to billionaire investor Ray Dalio.

Watch now on YouTube, Apple, and Spotify.

Dave led teams at Bridgwater for a decade and has coached 100s of leaders through his course and newsletter. We had a great chat about:

  • (00:00) The #1 mistake that leaders make

  • (01:55) Top lesson from working with Ray Dalio

  • (04:40) From leader to solopreneur

  • (09:51) How to manage up without screwing up

  • (19:16) How to be strategic about promotions

  • (25:54) Creating a personal brand internally

  • (26:48) The Eisenhower delegation matrix

  • (35:31) How harsh feedback forced Dave to grow
