Save 100s of hours by using my best GPTs or by creating your own
Dear subscribers,
Today, I want to share how you can save time by using GPTs to do your work for you.
GPTs were hyped at launch, but I haven’t found many useful public GPTs. Instead:
The best GPTs are personal ones that you set up yourself.
So let’s cover:

Best practices for creating a GPT
A GPT is essentially a wrapper for your best AI prompts.
Here’s how you can create one:
Go to ChatGPT’s GPT editor and select “Create a GPT”
Go to the Configure tab, and add your prompt to the instructions.
Add a name and description and use DALLE to generate an icon.
Set the privacy and hit save. Now you can talk to your GPT!
Keep the following in mind as you explore GPTs:
Your GPT is only as good as your prompt. The best prompts have detailed instructions and examples of great output. For more, read my AI writing post.
Don’t include sensitive information. If your privacy is not set to “Only me,” your prompt and files can easily be accessed by others with some prompt engineering.
The more specific your use case is the better. Example use cases include getting new movie recommendations (web browsing), creating logos (DALLE), and data analysis (code interpreter).
GPTs are best for specific, personal use cases. Let’s cover 5 of my favorites below.
Five of my best GPTs that you can use right now
Here are five GPTs that I use often to save time and get work done:
1. ConciseGPT
Creates 3 variations of your writing that are more clear and concise.
This GPT is great for making any sentence or paragraph more concise. I use it all the time for writing and editing.
2. HeadlineGPT
Creates 10 great headlines for a blog post or email.
This GPT is great at generating blog headlines because I’ve included a list of my best headlines in the prompt as examples.
3. NewsletterGPT
Edits a draft newsletter post to reflect your writing style.
This GPT is great for cleaning up a draft post based on my style because I’ve included my best newsletter posts in the prompt.
If you want to create a GPT that reflects your writing style instead, here’s a prompt that you can use:
I want you to help me edit a draft newsletter post.
